Shenandoah Fish & Game Protective Association

The membership fees and privilages were last updated during the regular meeting of the Association held on February 15th, 2007.  Per the By-Laws, such changes are to be agreed upon and proposed by the trustees; then submitted for a vote of the membership present at that meeting. Upon approval the changes become effective as noted.

NOTE: The memebrship charter for "regular" membership was closed on March 17th, 2008 at 7:00pm. No applications for "regular" membership are being accepted until further notice.

Regular..... Initiation & 1st year dues (includes bonded key)  $125. 

Annual dues thereafter: $30.

* Regular member is eligible to participate in the following: hunt and fish the Association grounds, reserve and utilize the picnic grove (if over 25 years of age).

* Regular members have the right to attend, participate and vote in meetings of the Association.

* Regular members are to be male and at least 18 years of age.

* Regular members are to sell $5.00 worth of drawing tickets per year.

Ladies..... Initiation & 1st year dues (includes bonded key) $40.

Annual dues thereafter: $20.

* Ladies member is eligible to participate in the following: hunt and fish the Association grounds, reserve and utilize the picnic grove (if over 25 years of age).

* Ladies members are to be at least 18 years of age.

* Ladies members are to sell $5.00 worth of drawing tickets per year.

Junior..... Initiation & 1st year dues (no key included) $10.

Annual dues thereafter: $10.00

* Junior member is eligible to hunt and fish Association grounds.

* Junior member may be male or female. There is no minimum age requirement.

* Junior member applicants and junior members must have a parent or legal guardian as a regular or ladies member. Applications are subject to approval per Article IV of the By-Laws. Under certain circumstances another family member (other than the father or mother) may sponsor a junior applicant. A special application is to be completed and approval of the trustees given prior to a membership vote.

Social..... Initiation & 1st year dues (includes bonded key) $30.

Annual dues thereafter: $15.

* Social members are eligible to participate in club house activities and events.

* Social members may be male or female and at least 21 year of age.

* Social members are to sell $5.00 worth of drawing tickets per year.

* Social members may NOT hunt or fish the Association grounds and may NOT reserve the picnic grove.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:

As per the Association By-Laws; there are four categories of membership.

* regular

* ladies

* junior

* social 

Each category has unique privilages, intiation fees and dues.

Memebership is non-transferable and has no monetary value.

Membership Upgrade:

A Social member may upgrade their membership from Social to either Regular or Ladies (when such membership category is open and lawfully approved as provided in the By-Laws) by application and payment of the initiation fee less the initiation fee paid for Social membership (e.g. Regular initiation ($125.) minus Social initiation (-$30.) = $95.)
